Neck

Neck rejuvenation is of paramount importance as any other facial feature. The changes endured by the neck through aging, although subtle, tend to highlight the ailing facial features. This could only be masked by a restriction in clothes selection, which only masks your face esthetics and beauty.
There are various ways to rejuvenate the neck area and achieve reversal of these aging changes. In some cases, liposuction of the neck may be all that is needed. In most cases, a full neck lift is required. The goal is to restore the youthful appearance and contours of the neck.
Neck lifts are designed to address the problem of lax skin and musculature in the neck region. In addition to the problem of loose skin and excess fatty deposits on the jaw and neck, which result in a number of highly unflattering problems, the muscles of the neck "platysma" can separate over time, leading to horizontal or vertical banding along the neck.
A fatty or "jowly" area beneath the chin is also a concern for many . In younger patients, liposuction alone may be sufficient to correct the problem. Older patients may require a full facelift and necklift, which may include the removal of excess skin and tightening the platysma muscles, which run down each side of the neck. These muscles are usually thicker in men than they are in women, but do not pose a greater challenge for your plastic surgeon.
