How does it work?

PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma, which is a highly concentrated group of human blood cells that can promote healing and new cellular growth. A small amount of your blood is withdrawn in our office, similar to what you could expect when having blood drawn for lab tests. The blood is then rapidly spun in a centrifuge to separate the PRP from the rest of your blood. Anesthesia is used to minimize discomfort during treatment. Then, the PRP is injected directly into your scalp with a microneedling device to stimulate renewed blood supply and proper nutrients to your deprived hair follicles.
